Epoxy

It's my birthday today. My friend took me out to lunch, and then we watched The Prestige. I was massively impressed by the movie, and will be buying it soon. Speaking of movies I need to buy, I saw a director's cut of Dark City at Wal-Mart. I need it. My soul aches to be filled with its glorious radiant awesomeness.

The aforementioned friend and I are sitting on the couch sharing amusing internet finds. She pulled up this blog, (which I started at her insistence,) and harangued me for never updating it. So here I am. Whoopa!

I made a flash drive yesterday. Well, not really. I modified a flash drive yesterday. It as a 500 meg drive, but the plastic outer casing broke off. I took a wad of epoxy and mashed it around the internal components, then took a fake clear plastic ice cube and stuck it in the epoxy, over the little blue indicator light. When the epoxy dried I carved it into a geometric shape and painted it white, then drybrushed blue over it. Now when I plug it in, the ice cube lights up blue. I'm very proud of it.

I usually go to work at 3 AM and go to bed by 6 PM. It's 7:15 now, and I'm getting really tired.

I thoroughly cleaned out my room this week. It's nice to be able to walk in it.

I really like pasta. I think I mentioned that in my last post, but I can't remember. It's been too long. Ginger ale is delicious in small doses, too. I remember several years ago, a friend of mine and I calculated exactly how many square feet of Canada were in every 2 liter bottle of Canada Dry ginger ale. It was an amusing diversion. I don't remember our results, or if we allowed for persistent manufacturing of more soda.
